Early starters from Sexsmith, Wembley or further out can still sit down to breakfast once they reach 107 Avenue. The breakfast menu runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon on weekdays. On Saturday and Sunday it carries on until 3 p.m. The lunch menu stops at 3 p.m.

Two places serve food inside the building. The Platinum Lounge and Dining Room is a full-service restaurant and lounge. Joker's Café is the other, and its hours are not posted. Holiday hours should be confirmed by phone at 780-539-4454.

Midday and later

The Special, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A chef's daily special is on from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., every day of the week. That window covers a late-morning arrival from Valleyview and an early-evening one from Dawson Creek alike. What the special is on a given day is a question for your server.

The Platinum Lounge and Dining Room serves the regular menu: steaks, burgers, pastas and plates to share. The lounge keeps one schedule all week, from 9:30 a.m. until 2 a.m. Roll in after 9 p.m. and the special has finished, though the lounge is still open.

Joker's Café, With Care

Joker's Café marks some dishes as gluten-friendly. The kitchen cannot promise that anything is fully gluten-free, and deep-fried food goes into shared oil. South to Evergreen Park

Wild Horse Casino & Lounge, at Evergreen Park on the southern edge of the city, keeps its own kitchen hours. Wild Horse Lounge serves drinks and meals from 9 a.m. to midnight every day, with breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. The Pines Family Restaurant at the park is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and has a kids menu.

Children can eat at The Pines, but the Wild Horse gaming floor admits only adults 18 and over. It runs from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. every day.
